A collection of apartments featuring some of the cityโ€™s largest outdoor garden areas have hit the market.

Lakeside Apartments, in Helensvale, is attracting strong interest with buyer data revealing 70 per cent of purchasers were over 50 years old and looking to transition from larger family homes to lower maintenance living.

Developed by Joint Venture partners Keylin and Kinstone Group, Lakeside Apartments prioritise liveability and connection to the outdoors, featuring apartments with up to 108sqm of outdoor space.

With construction underway by builder CoStruct, Lakeside Apartments includes 85 two and three-bedroom apartments across two four-level residential buildings, with views across Lake Serenity, the Coombabah Lakelands Conservation Area and the Surfers Paradise skyline.

Keylin development manager Joe Simpson said buyers wanted to downsize their home, not their lifestyle.

Lakeside Apartments launched in September 2025 with strong buyer interest for the two and three-bedroom apartments.

Future residents will have access to a variety of amenities including a large resort-style pool, jacuzzi, gym, private dining room, dog off-leash area, and kayaks available for hire.

Prices start at $1.148 million and residents are expected to move in by September, 2027.

Marianne Scott-Dalgleish and her partner live in New South Walesโ€™ Northern Rivers are now looking forward to downsizing to a ground floor Lakeside apartment.

โ€œWe currently live in a single-level family home on a large corner block, and itโ€™s too much for us to take care of,โ€ Ms Scott-Dalgleish said.

โ€œWe looked at other options on the Gold Coast but found them leaving us feeling boxed in.

โ€œThe balconies just felt like an extension of the actual unit.

โ€œLakeside Apartments ticked all our boxes and more.โ€

She said the ground floor apartments gave them exactly what they wanted โ€” a yard, no maintenance and time to pursue our interests.

โ€œWe did not have to compromise on anything,โ€ she said.

โ€œWe never hesitated purchasing a ground floor apartment. We did it that day.โ€
