One of the first developments to benefit from the imminent Coomera Connector Stage One completion, Lakeside at Serenity 4212, has experienced strong buyer interest and sales, driven by demand to live closer to new major infrastructure.

Developed by joint venture partners Keylin and Kinstone Group, Lakeside Apartments launched in September with strong buyer interest for the two and three-bedroom apartments.

Lakeside development manager Joe Simpson said the strong interest followed significant progress across the masterplan community, which recently welcomed its first residents to the Lakeside Villas.

โ€œSince construction commenced at Serenity 4212 in 2019, weโ€™ve experienced strong and consistent momentum, with each release and precinct selling out prior to completion,โ€ Mr Simpson said. โ€œAnd now, as the Coomera Connector Stage One nears completion, weโ€™re seeing this interest and demand kick into the next gear with a surge in enquiry and sales activity for our waterfront precinct.

โ€œEntry to this new 16km highway between Coomera and Nerang is just three minutesโ€™ drive from Lakeside, and the current M1 is seven minutesโ€™ away, making our precinct one of the most well-connected, with fast, easy access to the northern and southern Gold Coast and all the way to Brisbane.โ€

Coming from a large home in Carrara, Amanda Walton said she and her husband (pictured) were looking to downsize, and purchased a waterfront Lakeside Villa because they were immediately drawn to the propertyโ€™s location, specifically the proximity to growing infrastructure yet surrounded by nature and water.

โ€œMy husband and I no longer needed our big home in Carrara; our older children have moved out and itโ€™s just too much space for us and our youngest daughter,โ€ Mrs Walton said. โ€œThe location was a big factor for me because I wanted to live somewhere that really fits both my lifestyle and my work.

โ€œIโ€™m always on the go, so having great infrastructure close by makes a huge difference in my day-to-day life.

โ€œWith the new Coomera Connector making it easier to get between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, we still feel close to everything, but get to come home to a calm setting with greenery and water all around us.โ€

Mrs Walton added her husband is happiest when heโ€™s out on his boat so being able to have it docked right at their doorstep was a huge bonus.

Lakeside sales lead Tony Ashwin of Ashwin Property said Helensvale was in high demand due to its location just minutes from transport and major employment areas, including the GC Health & Knowledge Precinct, new Hope Island Train Station, Coomera Hospital, and a proposed private day hospital.

According to PropTrack, the median home price in Helensvale has increased by 13.4 per cent and median apartment prices have increased by 9.3 per cent in the past 12 months, compared to 10.06 per cent for all residences on the Gold Coast.

With construction underway by CoStruct, Lakeside Apartments offers a collection of 85 two and three-bedroom apartments across two four-level residential buildings, capturing views across Lake Serenity, the Coombabah Lakelands Conservation Area and the Surfers Paradise skyline.

Pricing starts at $960,000* for a two-bedroom apartment.

โ€œFuture residents will have access to a variety of amenities, including a large resort-style pool, jacuzzi, gym, private dining room, dog off-leash area, and kayaks available for hire,โ€ Mr Simpson said.

โ€œLakeside Apartments are on track for residents to move in by Spring 2027.โ€

Located on the fringe of Hope Island and in one of the fastest growing regions in Queensland, Serenity 4212 is a peninsula community bordered by a private lake and the 1200ha Coombabah Lakelands Conservation Area. More than one-third of the 65 ha master plan is dedicated as nature reserve, while a further 10ha has been transformed into parkland.

Keylin and joint venture partner Kinstone Group have taken measures to protect the natural surrounds, including planting nearly 2,000 new trees and 45,000 plants, and rehabilitating the neighbouring habitat which is home to over 270 animal species. The joint venture is also partnering on the 47.7ha Foxwell Coomera lifestyle precinct at Coomera Town Centre South, which was acquired in 2021.
